Website Content Author
Role Description
- Collaborate with Product + Segment Marketing, Digital Marketing; SEM, SEO, Social, Marketing; Editorial/Copywriting, Business Lines, and UX peers to create world-class customer experiences online through the company's eco-system of websites and customer experience platforms.
- Author and publish website core pages, tertiary pages, and campaign landing pages in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) 6.x., and Unbounce.
- Author and publish campaign landing pages based on UX design or templates in AEM and Unbounce.
- Author and publish website based on designs, wireframes, and component inventory in AEM and Unbounce.
- Implement reusable components (and experience fragments) to streamline the authoring process.
- Work in a global cross-channel environment publishing content for desktop/laptop and mobile devices
- Where necessary, style content using CSS to match creative specifications
- Collaborate with website product manager and development team on component requirements
- Work in a cross-channel environment publishing content for desktop/laptop and mobile devices.
- Evaluate and test standardization and quality of page components.
- Assist in gathering requirements and assessing content authoring needs of a given project
- Project manage assigned project activities and tasks in Wrike or similar project management tools
- Document authoring instructions and guidelines, update content logs, copy documents and other documentation systems
- Analyze and understand end-to-end customer experiences to make sure all content is consistent in brand voice/tone/construction and technically correct
- Understand fundamentals of search engine optimization (SEO) (on-page and technical SEO) to ensure titles, keywords, tags, alts, I.A, etc. are structured to the SEO strategy and guidelines, and page layout structured to UX best practices.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and document browser/platform compatibility issues and standards
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- 5-year experience with Adobe Experiment Manager (AEM) 6.X., Unbounce. Optional, experience with other relevant CMS (content management solutions)
- Preference to North American PST time zone.
- Prior experience with front-end development is a plus
- Prior experience with on-page and technical SEO (search engine optimization), user-centered design concepts, and conversion rate optimization.
- Experience working with SEO, Digital Marketing, UX, and product teams
- Prior experience authoring content for an enterprise website
- Understanding on Design systems like Figma/InVision/Sketch
- Understanding of Agile/JIRA or Wrike
- Strong understanding of Web Development
- Proficient knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Knowledge of developing responsive content
- Professional experience authoring and writing for websites, mobile apps, software, or other digital platforms; transactional
- Experience collaborating with large teams using outstanding communication skills
- Attention to detail, especially as it relates to complex customer interactions and compliance-mandated content
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with proven ability to respond flexibly to changing priorities
- Expert in Microsoft Office
- Understanding of troubleshooting cross browser and device issues
- Proficient Adobe Photoshop skills
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Excellent organizational/time management, planning/prioritization skills and troubleshooting skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Excellent writing, grammatical, and proofing skills
