Microsoft Clarity Analytics: What, Why and How

Microsoft Clarity is a web behavioral analysis tool that helps you understand user behavior and interaction with your website.

This tool provides

  • Click reporting
  • Page view reporting
  • Session recordings
  • Heatmaps
  • Insights driven by Machine Learning

It is sort of like Google Analytics but not quite. We will cover detailed analysis of GA4 v/s Microsoft Clarity in a future post.

Why should You Use Clarity?

Here are some of the reasons why you should use Microsoft clarity along with your other web analytics tool like GA4, Piwik PRO etc.

  • Clarity is a very simple to use tool and can be implemented on your site in just a few clicks or via simple code.
  • Realtime collection and analysis of data.
  • No limit on the number of visitors or event that you can track.
  • No data sampling
  • AI and Machine Learning driven insights to help you analyze user behavior.
  • GDPR compliant
  • Secure data storage by Microsoft.

How can Clarity help?

In addition to all the click, page and event level data Microsoft Clarity all provides with session recordings. So not only you get numbers but you can quickly see the sessions that are behind those numbers. Use this data and session recordings you can take the guess work out of you website design.

How Much Does Clarity Cost?

Microsoft clarity is free to use. Which makes it even more compelling to use.
